How are Satin Brass products made?

Satin Brass products are forged from solid brass. During the final manufacturing stages, each Satin Brass product is brushed with a satin wheel which creates a delicate texturing, and then coated with a high-quality matt lacquer to preserve its beautiful, warm hues.

Can I use Satin Brass products externally?

Absolutely! Our Satin Brass hardware can be used in all areas of your home, both inside and out. Just make sure you follow the care and maintenance instructions to keep your products looking their best!

How can I maintain the finish of my Satin Brass products?

Because our Satin Brass products are lacquered, we recommend avoiding harsh chemicals or cleaning products which may affect the lacquer.

Regularly wiping over the surface of the product with a wax-based furniture polish, like Beeswax, will help remove dirt, fingerprints, and watermarks while maintaining the lacquer.

As with all our products, we also recommend regularly oiling any moving parts with From The Anvil's 3-in-1 Oil to ensure all mechanisms are operating smoothly.
